The museum is the gateway to Wells and the Mendips and includes a Visitor Information Centre. Wells and Mendip Museum tells the story of the Mendip landscape and its inhabitants, with a large collection of geological specimens, as well as archaeological and social history artefacts.
Explore the diverse collection which includes fossils, medieval carved sculpture, samplers, Roman mining, prehistoric flints, cave exploration, a vintage dollhouse, miniature antique shop, the Harry Patch memorial, and much more.
